The Challenge

The Johnston Street Bridge in Quesnel needed coating work carried on through a BC winter. Paint has to cure, and the environment under the bridge needs protecting. It is our most technically demanding scaffold to date.
The Solution
A temporary roof, erected in two phases.
We built the access and enclosure to the engineer's plans, with independent rolling roofs so the coaters could work in a clean, controlled space and the quality of the coating was protected.
The Result
Only the work zone covered.
Enclosing just the active work zone, instead of the whole structure, meant 45% less scaffold rental and labour for our client, and winter didn't stop the project.
